East Bay Small Business Development Center is please to announce the second set of California Construction Contracting Programs which will be taught on April 9th and April 10th at the Cal State Training Center located at 1000 Broadway, Oakland, CA 9612.

The program, entitled Accounting and Cash Flow Module, is divided into 3 sessions which can be taken as a group or individually. The descriptions of the 3 courses are shown below as are links to sign-up for the courses. Accounting and Cash Flow Module - Course 1 of 3

April 9, 2008 from 9 am to 12 pm at the Cal State Training Center, 1000 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94612

Attendees will understand (1) Basic Accounting Principles (2) How to Read and Understand a Financial Statement (3) What Financial Statements tell you about the health of your business.

Topics will include Income Statements and Balance Sheets, Statement of Cash Flows, Accounting Methods and Systems and other important subject vital to the successful operations of your contracting and construction business.

Cash Flow Management

Attendees will understand (1) The concept of and need for cash flow statements (2) Cash flow statements and management (3) Defining and managing cash basis - cash flow (4) Defining and managing capital basis - cash flow (5) Developing a cash forecast.
