Cathy Balach is an online marketing strategist specializing in strategic marketing, website design, content development, email communications, and media for business growth. She’s a certified AI Specialist, working throughout Northern California, and as a recognized leader in AI applications, Cathy is known for her innovative approach to using artificial intelligence to drive business growth.

With nearly 15 years of consulting and mentoring, she has guided countless North Bay startup businesses by leveraging her expertise in both traditional and digital marketing landscapes.

Cathy’s experience spans a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, retail (online and brick-and-mortar), and food production. Her career includes roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and PepsiCo, as well as founding and operating three of her own businesses across Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and the North Bay.

She also has a passion for orchestrating major events, finding inspiration in the intersection of marketing, community-building, and technology.

Previously an SBDC Director, Cathy continues to dedicate herself to supporting local businesses. Outside of her professional life, she is an avid traveler and cyclist.
