About Me:

Mr. Alix has over 40 years of experience managing the design and construction of small to large complex size projects in the federal, State, County and Private sectors. Mr. Alix’s professional experience includes performing as a Senior Project Manager for Bechtel, senior Project Manager for the BRAC cleanup of hazardous materials at Hamilton Army Airfield under the US Army Corps of Engineers (Sacramento District) to Project Director ICF Kaiser managing a $260 million dollar program, General Manager Luster National Inc. a Construction Management Firm and SVP for Luster Operations and Owner and President The Alix Group Inc. a Project Management and Construction Management Firm which also provides support to small owned business and organizations seeking improvements with their diversity supplier programs. Mr. Alix has provided strategic planning, requirements identification and one-on-one advising to small minority owned business, conducted training and on boarding of minority owned small business firms in the construction space. Mr. Alix worked with several small business Firms in pursuit of Federal, State and Private Projects providing Strategic Planning, Business Development and Construction Operations assistance. Mr. Alix was responsible for strategic planning, marketing and business development, proposal development and writing, contract negotiation, project implementation and management and client services. These contracts totaled more than several hundred million dollars. The agencies include, US Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC West, GSA, Beale AFB, Travis AFB and Edwards AFB, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Veterans Administration, The US Postal Service, San Juaquin and Sacramento Counties, Sacramento International Airport, UCD Medical Center, UCD Campus and the Federal Aviation Administration and US Coast Guard.
